About the Course:
Standard Child Care First Aid is a comprehensive two-day course offering lifesaving first aid skills, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR Level B) skills (child and baby only), and injury prevention skills and knowledge, focusing on childhood injuries and illnesses. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and daycare worker safety requirements. You can choose to attend the course in Calgary or Red Deer or arrange for our Mobile Training Unit to conduct the training at a location of your choice.
Prerequisites:
Full: Recommended 14 yrs +
Recert: a current Childcare First Aid at the Standard level from a Canadian Approved Agency

Course Completion Criteria:
Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
Attend and participate in 100% of the course
